There is never a dull moment at Brasstown. In addition to all the amazing outdoor activities and soothing spa treatments, our hard-working event staff incorporates many cultural, educational and community events for guests of all ages. Some activities have become a long-standing tradition year after year while others come and go with the seasons. Easter Sunday Brunch & Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet:

Sunday, April 16th.  Seating in the Dining Room 11:30am – 3pm.  Please call 706-379-4617 for advance Reservations

Annual Easter Egg Hunt:

Sunday, April 16th, 10am & 1pm.  Located on the Waterfall lawn and open to all children who are guests in the resort or attending the Easter Brunch.  Kids are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets for hunting and there will be prize eggs.

Weekend Activities: Recreation Dept.

Our Recreation department will be hosting activities for the resort guests and their children throughout the weekend.  A printed program of events will be available at the front desk.

Our Reservations department is offering a Easter Brunch Room Package, one night stay for two with admission to the Easter Sunday Brunch included.  Two night stays are also available.  Please contact Reservations at 1-800-201.3205 for details.

Fall / Winter Art Exhibit - Brasstown Valley Resort Art Gallery

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa along with the Mountain Arts Association is please to announce our Winter Exhibit

This exhibit will feature Fall & Winter themed art from local area member artist with a variety of mediums ranging from oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and photography.

This exhibit will show until March 2017.

Rollins Planetarium & Observatory

Located: The  Maxwell Center building on the campus of Young Harris College.

Public Shows

The 2015-2016 season at O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium features more than 30 Friday-evening public shows. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for best seats. No late seating is permitted. Public planetarium shows, with the exception of Cosmic Concerts, include a live-narrated “seasonal stargazing” segment in addition to the featured full-dome program. The Young Harris College Observatory features a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and is open at 9 p.m. on the same Friday evenings the planetarium is open, if skies are clear. The observatory is located approximately 1.5 miles from campus at Twiggs Overlook on the exit road leading from Brasstown Valley Resort. Maps are available at the planetarium. Observing sessions last up to one hour.

  • YHC Students/Faculty/Staff: Free
  • Purchase tickets in advance online!
