Steve Phelps is a member of the PGA and have been a golf professional since 1995. Steve came to Brasstown Valley Resort from Ft. Myers, Florida although he grew up in New Hampshire. He has taught the game at many different levels, giving a tremendous amount of individual lessons, conducting clinics and instructing at golf schools.
Steve has taught playing pros who have played in U.S. Opens and the Canadian Tour. In addition, he has also taught players looking to secure their cards through mini tours. Most recently, he worked to create a junior program in Ft. Myers. While his specialty is the short game, he thoroughly enjoys teaching all aspects of the game, having researched the game extensively, from the swing itself to course management and the mental aspect of the game.
