Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa and the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter invite you to the Inaugural Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa Charity Golf Classic benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter on April 13, 2009. All proceeds from the Classic will go directly to the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
In addition to the golf course action, come join NASCAR legend Bill Elliott and 790 The Zone's, The Pollack and Bell Show LIVE at the resort. We encourage all participants and guests to take part in a silent auction full of Georgia and sports memorabilia, amazing resort getaways and packages and more! When the sun sets behind the mountains, pull out the blankets and cozy up on the green with the chart-topping southern rock band, The Georgia Satellites, as they perform live while enjoying a cook-out style feast! Concert admission is only $5 per adult and $5 for children (x2) 12 and under!

The Golf Division of Brasstown Valley specializes in producing a variety of golf tournaments for groups convening for meetings, conventions and conferences. There are a variety of formats and creative elements to a golf outing that can be implemented for your group. Golf is a great team-building exercise as well.
Our pro shop staff will help you plan every aspect of the tournament including the tee times, food and beverage service, rental equipment and if needed, the rules and scoring. The most popular event is a 4-person scramble, allowing for players of all ability levels to participate. This also enhances camaraderie and keeps play moving, in order to get the round in prior to or just after gathering to meet or dine.
Tournaments can be conducted for any group size up to 30 foursomes. We can design the events to suit your needs and skill levels.

Brasstown Valley Golf Club specializes in producing a variety of golf tournaments for the meetings, conventions, and conferences that convene here. Golf is a great team building exercise. It generally takes about five hours. It is even more enjoyable if you add an extra hour for players to go to the practice green, the driving range or the chipping and pitching range prior to a shotgun start.
Our pro staff will help you plan every aspect of the tournament including the tee times, food service, beverage service, rental equipment, and of course, the rules and the scoring. The most popular tournament, the Captain's Choice, allows the beginner or the intermediate player to attempt every shot, but then pick up their ball and play it where ever the best ball landed of the four shots played. The advantages are to keep a foursome together, which enhances the team building and camaraderie. It also keeps play moving quickly and encourages the beginners to keep having fun even when they shoot an arrant shot.
Tournaments can be conducted for groups ranging in size between 5 foursomes and 36 foursomes. Depending upon the experience level of your players, we can design them to go off on any of the tees, and we have four sets of tees keeping it fun for all levels of play (it's 6,957 yards from the yellow's!).

If your agenda doesn’t allow enough time for an 18-hole tournament, a Putting Contest is another option we can arrange. A putting Contest consists of up to 9 holes on the putting green in which each hole has a different look. Some may be par 2’s; some par 3’s and a couple will be par 4’s. Each hole on the putting course has its own unique character. An actual “course layout” can also be created, with some of the obstacles being trees, rocks, shrubs, flowers and sand traps. Putting Contests are for all ages, a great team building activity.
Fun is the theme. This is also a little more interactive than being on the course. We will supervise the vent and provide bar service from Brassies Grill’s offering your groups favorite refreshments. Typically, this requires a minimum of 20 players. Just contact your group Sales Manager if you and your group are interested in including this unusual team building event in your agenda.
