This years Horsin Around BBQ Showdown was such a tremendous success, what a wonderful crowd we had come out and the weather was great! We estimated our attendance for both days to be over Two (2) Thousand!
Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the event, your attendance was very greatly appreciated.

A special round of applause goes out to our BBQ Teams, this year we had (33) pro teams come out and compete for top honors. The winners list for all of our BBQ events including the Anything Butt contest, the Backyard Show Up & Cook Event and the Car Show is posted here on the BBQ page and pictures of the event are posted on our Facebook page: Brasstown Valley so please add us as friend to view all the fun photo’s

Thank you to all of our sponsors who partner with us from year to year and to our new sponsors, as we endeavor to grow this community event. This would not be possible without your valuable support.

Thank you to all of our food vendors for bringing your culinary delights to the festival, to all of our bands that entertained us so nicely, to the SE Reptile Rescue group for your very informative exhibit and show that not only entertained but educated as well. To the Blairsville Cruiser Car Club, thanks for bringing out your wonderful collection of classic cars for the crowd to enjoy.

And to the The All American Arts & Crafts Festival, thank you so very much for coming and providing our guests with a wonderful craft village, your demonstrations were very informative and entertaining as well. We are looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa Gallery

Visit our newest art exhibit titled “Summer Fun”
School is out, vacations begin, and sunny days, a verdant lush landscape and sparkling water make the perfect setting for all outdoor activities

This exhibit features 22 area member artists with 50 pieces of art ranging form oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and photography. All of the art work in the gallery is for sale.

An opening reception will be held on Friday July 16, 2010 from 5:30pm until 7:00pm
There is no charge to attend the reception. This exhibit will be on display in the gallery until November 8, 2010. For more information please contact us @ 706-379-4606

The Brasstown Valley Art Gallery was established in Spring of 2009 as a premier venue for local fine art. The Gallery seeks to enhance the experience of visitors to the area and to serve the local community's cultural needs.

Valley resort & Spa’s phantom trail on

Path opens to the living at 7:30 pm and goes until the last scream!!

Enter the dark confines of our stable to begin your trip into dark-ness and encounter the inhabitants of your worst nightmares!

The cost to brave the phantom trail is only $10 per person.
Hikes depart every quarter hour

Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by a
parent. This is a scary event, parental discretion advised. For those not willing to experience the phantom trail, ghoulish treats and hayrides will be available while you wait to see if your loved ones return!!!!

The Holiday Arts & Crafts Show

November 26 & 27, 2010

10:00AM Until 5:00PM Daily

This is a juried event with outstanding & talented vendors presenting their work. We will be featuring 15 different categories of crafters and artists during this two day event. There is no doubt that you will find a unique item for that special someone on your holiday gift giving list.

We will also have a room set up for the children to come out and enjoy between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm each day during this time they will be able to make their own “Special Holiday Craft”

There will also be a Holiday Coloring Contest for the kids with a Gift Basket for the winner!!! And all pictures will be displayed during the holiday weekend at the Resort
