There’s no better way to experience the beauty of the our surrounding than on horseback. The stables at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa offer programs catered to adults, children, and groups. And regardless of skill level, the staff will keep you safe and make you feel at home in the saddle. Our programs cater to individuals wishing to take private lessons, to groups hitting the trail in an old western style, or as part of a group team building exercise.
Begin your day with a Wrangler’s breakfast in the private tack room in the Brasstown Valley Stable’s welcome center. In front of a roaring fireplace up to a maximum of 24 riders will enjoy scrambled eggs, flapjacks, hot buttered grits and coffee in a tin cup. From there riders will saddle up for a one hour trail ride to clear the mind and return to the stables to resume the meeting in the private and intimate setting of the tack room.
After a day of meeting attendees may opt to once again saddle up for a “five o’clock” somewhere ride ending with Bluegrass and BBQ in our Creekside or Sunset pavilion. Our teambuilding leaders will create a program specifically designed to accomplish your meeting goals including arranging your western wear for the day’s activities.
Minimum of 10 attendees and 24 riders. Larger groups can be accommodated if there are non-riders.
Riders begin by enjoying breakfast in the dining room at the Resort. After breakfast a Hayride will take your group to the Stables facility to enjoy a 1 or 2 hour guided mountain trail ride. The Hayride will return to take your group back to the main lobby after your ride is complete.
This program is open to groups of 11 or more. Reservations are required for this package and may be made with your Sales Manager or by calling 706-379-4606.

The resort had supervised horseback riding… and my seven-year old absolutely loved riding Dusty and Topper… the awesome stable cowboy was friendly to parents and great with kids.
This is a wonderful experience for the whole family. Great hiking trails, spa, indoor/outdoor pool, stables, and lots of scenic views. It does not get any better than this!
There were so many other activities to take advantage of… horseback riding, spa, hiking, etc. this resort is a great place to spend a vacation in the Georgia Mountains.
This resort is an all season destination with horse back riding, golf, and spa. In our most recent trip we took advantage of the 6 mile day hike which passes through one of the national forests.
