The wedding/event planner was so helpful for the entire year we were planning–always answering questions and offering ideas, in addition to supplying us with a preferred vendor list. All this was wonderful as we are from Florida. The wedding day finally arrived, a beautiful ceremony at the Sunset Terrace and a fantastic reception at the Sunset Pavilion. And then the rain came! However, the pavilion kept us all dry and the banquet manager (in charge of the meal and all happenings at the reception) was great making sure all was proceeding as should be, in spite of rain. We had a wonderful experience and we would surely recommend Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa as the perfect wedding venue.
Mother of the Bride
Ashley and Emily were absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. They responded to every question and request in a timely manner which was super helpful to keep things moving along. Everyone that we worked with at the resort was professional, friendly and very accommodating.
I love the fact that our wedding guests made a weekend out of it–with the majority of our family and friends traveling to the North Georgia Mountains from all over the country. Our guests spent the weekend lounging by the pool, playing golf, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, eating in the restaurants and much more. The accommodations were perfect for our guests with many of them reserving entire cottages for the weekend or extending their stay to hang out for a few more days even after the wedding.
One of my biggest concerns was finding local vendors (wedding planner, florist, cake, hair/make-up, and photographer) in the area–BVR provided me with a list of recommended vendors who were absolutely fantastic. The fact that the vendors were so familiar with the property made every decision easier for us.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa. The memories that we made that weekend at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa will last a lifetime!
