Mountain Arts Association Fall/Winter Exhibit 2021

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa along with the Mountain Arts Association is pleased to announce our Fall/Winter Exhibit.

The new art will be displayed starting September 20, 2021 and will show until March 2022.

This exhibit will feature Fall/Winter themed art from local area member artist with a variety of mediums ranging from oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and photography.

Rollins Planetarium & Observatory

Located: The  Maxwell Center building on the campus of Young Harris College.

Public Shows

The 2015-2016 season at O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium features more than 30 Friday-evening public shows. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for best seats. No late seating is permitted. Public planetarium shows, with the exception of Cosmic Concerts, include a live-narrated “seasonal stargazing” segment in addition to the featured full-dome program. The Young Harris College Observatory features a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and is open at 9 p.m. on the same Friday evenings the planetarium is open, if skies are clear. The observatory is located approximately 1.5 miles from campus at Twiggs Overlook on the exit road leading from Brasstown Valley Resort. Maps are available at the planetarium. Observing sessions last up to one hour.
